Corel Media One drag+drop not working

Hello,

I am using Corel Media One, have "All files" selected in the preferences, and still, after tagging files with drag+drop, when I open the files to see if it worked, it reads "No files Found" or such.

Any ideas?

Whoa... Haven't seen anyone using this for a loooog time now. I took it off my machine not long after it came out.. I think I got it with one of the PhotoImpact versions. I'm going to move your topic to the PhotoImpact forums, and hopefully someone with a better memory than I, can help you. Since you posted this in the Win7 forum, I hope you're not trying to run it on Win7, I don't think it will..

Well since I had my PI disc out to check on something else, I went ahead and installed Media One, however will not leave it installed very long. I just don't like the program. I'm not clear on what you're really having problems with. I can add tags to my photos and they stick, and the program has no problems opening them, or seeing them. What exactly are you doing or mean...

By this do you mean the File association? I don't think it matters to have any files associated with the program. The only files that I will allow a program to establish an association with, are the proprietary for the specific program. If I want to just view a photo, I use whatever windows default happens to be. I don't want an editing or cataloging program launching everytime I just want to look at a photo.

Downloadable update as in ???? Did you purchase Corel Media One as a stand-alone program or did you get it with PhotoImpact? I'm not finding any updates/patches for Corel Media One. It has been long since discontinued by Corel.

Hello,

You may want to reset MediaOne plus. Here's how...

Click START > RUN > type %appdata%

Then open the Corel folder then delete the MediaOne folder then restart the computer.
