I want to cry

Postby jvuu on Sun Mar 06, 2011 11:07 pm

i cry for photoimpact ... the best ever , and always in my heart ... i use it even today (2011) (from v8) for web design , branding ... and from many that i tryed there nothing like PI ... yeah is just unique , a piece of art destroyed by ... something.
Today , i hate Corel for what they did. This is the true.I wait everyday for a sign of a new v. of pi .. but nothing ... illusions only.
Anyway ... i hope this is the perfect place to share things and stuff about pi ... tears and tears again :
omq.

but not rip yet ... because i belive in changes.

Welcome to the forums, :)

It would be nice if they would continue to support PI, however I really doubt that will happen. They have invested so much into PSPP, along with having CorelDraw Graphics Suite, it simply is not profitable for them to keep this program. They dropped the best video editor Ulead had, MediaStudio Pro, and Corel had nothing along this lines until they swallowed up Ulead. I guess the money comes from selling a lot of cheap products, over a lessor amount of more expensive, yet better quality.

So long as you have an operating system that PI will run on, there's no reason to throw it out.
