PhotoImpact X3 and Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)

Postby ACeleste on Mon May 24, 2010 1:42 am

I'm curious as to what kind of success users have had running PI X3 on Windows 7, particularly Windows 7 32-bit versus Windows 7 64-bit.

Thanks

I have PIX3 and WIN7 64 bit and have no problems at all.

If you go over to the PIRC forum you will see quite a number of folk using PI and various OS versions without any problems. PIRC

I installed it on my W7HP-64bit and it runs just fine.

While I have Adobe CS3 and PSPX3, I still find it faster, simpler and easier to use for quick projects.

Just a quick note: I recently installed PI X3 on Windows 7 64-bit, and it seems to be working fine.

Hi Chrissie

I would recommend you contact Corel about this. There could be a number of reasons why it's not accepting the registration code.

If you downloaded the software from Corel, you would have received email from them giving you an activation code along with instructions.

Thanks Trueblue,
I did contact Corel, they just took a litlle time getting back to me, due to the weekend. The first download would not work with that activation key received. They sent me a new download link, and everything installed perfectly and activated correctly.
I love this software, as I said before I have been using it for many years,(I think I started with version 7) I do wish they would reconsider and release it!
Sincerely,
Chrissie

I downed loaded PI X3 onto my PC with Windows 7. It worked just fine until I wanted to buy it. I bought it and it would not accept the registration code. Called Coral and they told me I was out of luck that Coral does not support PI X3 on Windows 7.

You are being fobbed off! Demand help if you purchased the software they have to help you with installation and seriel numbers.
It's correct that Corel are not offering technical help about using the software, but your case is different. Lean hard on them.
