PSP X4 freezes when selecting "Manage" tab

Postby pearson100 on Sun Jul 08, 2012 5:09 pm

PSP X4 opens in the Edit page. When I select the "Manage" tab, the program freezes and I need to use the Task Manager to shut the program down.

I contacted Corel and they told me to reinstall the program. I have done so but the problem still persists. I have the service pack 2 installed.

Windows 7 Home Premium
Dell 64 bit, 3.2 GHz
memory 12gb
Intel i5

Thanks.

You may want to update the direct x for your Windows 7.

You can download the updated Direct X at http://www.microsoft.com/Windows/window ... tx-11.aspx

Doesn't all but the earliest versions of Windows 7 already ship with the latest Direct X? Direct X 11.

That's true -- but Microsoft issues updates which change the *build* number, as opposed to the version number. So a computer might come with DirectX 11.1, but after the update, it becomes 11.2...

That's true, but Windows 7 was released after the latest update to DirectX 11 and is up to date out of the box.
