Old style browsing in X4?

Postby bfollett on Wed May 02, 2012 4:39 pm

I've moved from version 9 of Paintshop Pro to version X4. Surprisingly, there's not too much of a learning curve, even though I skipped a few versions. One thing that is bothering me though is browsing. In version 9, when you did a browse you got a full screen of thumbnails, which is very helpful if you have a large directory to search through. Unless I'm missing something in version X4, there is only a filmstrip (single row) browse that is really more difficult to use in a folder with lots of photos. Is there a way to do a version 9(and prior) browse with multiple rows/columns of photos? I went from being able to browse about 80 photos at a time to about 8.

Thanks,

Bob

With the Organise open and in Manage mode (top) look across to right hand side under the close button and you will see two tiny buttons One is Preview mode and the other Thumbnail mode.
That what you are looking for?

Thank you so much... That's exactly what I was looking for. I'm loving a lot of the new tools, that browsing change was the only thing that was bugging me, so I'm quite happy now.
