Printing problems
I'm having a problem printing out a black and white photo. This is the first time I'm tring to print from PSP 3. When the photo is printed out, instead of looking like what I did in PSP 3, it looks like it was imbossed and black pencil. I have done a search and played around with PSP 3 with no luck.....Even reinstalled PSP 3.
If I go to the photo file, both the saved and the original, and print it directly, they comes out near perfect, except for a purple tint in both. You do not see the purple tint in the photo when in PSP 3 or the saved file untill it is priinted out...

If the printer is printing purple from files outside of PSP and oddly from within, I'd say that the problem may be the printer itself. Make sure you have the latest drivers and that your connection to the printer/scanner is clean. If using USB then disconnecting other USB devices if you have any may help. If using the wireless method you may try changing channels. Make sure that the ink is seated properly. If you're specifying paper type you may try the default.

Does a test or calibration print come out right?

Also, try putting a file onto an SD card (or other media that the printer takes that you own), inserting the card into the printer, and see if you still have the issue.

It could be a printer problem. Conduct a test print through your computer to make sure.
