Sound probs in souce window

When playing clips in the souce window there is no sound but if useing the jog bar or the shuttle control sound is played ok. The preview window works fine but have also no sound on the input video box everthing else is ok I have reistalled msp7 and loaded sp3 any idears

I'd start by checking the sound cards audio mixer and see if anything's muted. Also check the Insert Video File dialog to see if it's muted as well.

Otherwise: what is your system config (os, dx version, sound card etc.).
