Highlight moving person/object with VideoStudio

Postby sjj1805 on Wed Jan 23, 2008 9:47 pm

Several members have asked how to highlight someone or something in a video. I gave this some thought and surprisingly it can be done quite easily using nothing other than VideoStudio. You do not require ANY other software.

This short clip demonstrates two completely different methods.
The first method is a square over someone walking along the back of the video, The second is a bit more elaborate and begins as an oval and shrinks away to a circle.
I will provide the how to in the next couple of days when I get the chance to put it together with Camtasia Studio.

Absolutely cool!

Just to promote MSP 8, here is how I use the same technique. The video was degraded on purpose, but, you will get the general idea.
