Video: Hummingbirds

Postby Ron P. on Fri Jan 19, 2007 3:31 am

I dug this clip out and dusted it off, and thought I would share it. The video was shot about 1½ ago. I set my camcorder up on the front porch near one of our feeders. I was inside looking out the window, and using the remote to zoom in and out. The video was edited using VS9.

I hope you enjoy it..:)

Excellent clip vidoman, love it. Where would one go to get a feeder like that? We have a lot of Hummingbirds also but I have not yet managed to source a proper feeder for them. Yours seems to be just the thing. :D

Heinz,
We can get them about anywhere here, Wal-Mart, hardware stores, just about anywhere. I work in a small hardware store, in a small town, and we sell them too..:)

Great vidoman, can you email me one  Maybe I should check out our local hardware stores for them too, since I'm not planning a visit to the US in the near future :?

Great video. It's known to be hard to film birds, especially hummingbirds. You really did a great filming. :)

Yes it is difficult to film them. I had tried being there with my camcorder, however they didn't want to feed with me present.

Thank you H.T. :)
