How to re download Gif-X after making purchase in 2003

Postby paullee357 on Tue Jun 24, 2008 12:03 am

I purchased GIF-X 2.0 in 2003 and I need to reinstall after finally having my hard drive crash. I have the Anigif2.8bf file saved in my backup system and restored it into my new PSP9 Plugin folder. PSP9 sees the effect but I now get a error message saying "UNABLE TO LOAD ANIGIF2.DLL"

So I am now guessing that maybe I installed it via an .EXE file that I got from Ulead???

I purchased it in 3 July 2003 under Order number 3347800 via Element 5 and I have all of my email documentation. However, I noticed the download link only works until 17 July 2003. So what do I do now, If I can't find that .EXE ??

Sorry to hear about that..:(

You can try to Contact Corel, to see if they will provide a new download link. I would not hold my breath though. One service provided by Element 5 and now Corel is a 2 year download insurance. This is specifically for catastrophes such as yours.

It's always a good practice to burn your purchased download files to a CD or DVD immediately after you have them downloaded. ;)

One thing to note you can still purchase this through Ulead's Website, however I could not find any mention of it on Corel's. That generally means that Corel has stopped support for it.
