Extract audio from avi file - how?

Postby phil_c on Tue Nov 06, 2012 8:34 pm

Hi - can someone help me with this please? I want to extract the audio from a short avi clip for editing in Audacity. The user guide says it can be done but I can't find where it says how.
Regards, Phil.

Put the .avi file in the timeline - Click on "Share" and choose "Create Sound File" from the options panel which appears - use the dialogue window which opens to choose where to save it - what to call it - what type to save.
