Postby Pete Waterman on Thu May 24, 2012 11:01 am

I have what you might think a stupid question!
I have just bought & installed VS Pro X5 Ultimate,
Now im happy its working fine, i want to uninsatall my VS Pro X4 Ultimate,
Can I then pass it to a friend of mine that wants to get into video editing or would he have to buy a serial number from corel??
See I told you it was a stupid question!!
Thanks
Pete

It's not stupid at all. Sure you can pass it to a friend, but he will not be able to register it in his name as it is registered in yours (I assume...)

Your friend can install it under his name but may not be able to register the serial number. Also.. if its a download version, he may have a problem downloading the installer if needs to reinstall it, unless of course you give him a copy of the installation files.
