Overlay Crossfading

Postby noahghicks on Tue Mar 27, 2012 1:11 am

I know this has come up a bunch of times.
Thanks to this board I now know how to get my main video and overlay tracks to crossfade.
I also know that the default crossfade effect using the overlay properties option has a duration of approx 30% of the entire clip.

Is there a way to control the duration of the overlay fade in/fade out?

Thanks!

Hi

The pause durations can be adjusted from the blue bar below the preview screen.

Some versions of Video Studio allow you to use transitions in the overlay track, drag the CrossFade transition to your clip, you may need to use a colour clip ( Chroma -transparent)
